Long gone are the days where libraries were full of dusty books and librarians who like to shush….we have neither.

While our building may be 104 years old, our collection and the services we offer are very 21st century. We work tirelessly to ensure our collection of materials is up to date with what’s trending and in-style. In addition to books, we offer Audiobooks, DVD’s, and STEM kits all for checkout. We also offer grab and go craft kits, as well as in-house crafts and activities. We provide fun, engaging programming for all patrons ages 0-100. Our building has three designated sections; children’s room, adult room, and our Teen Lounge.

Our Children’s Room features tons of books from board books for ages 0-3, to picture books for our young readers, and middle-grade and graphic novels for tweens. We have 4 computers for use in this room, whether it be for homework, learning coding at one of our classes, finding books in our collection, or playing Roblox. Our children’s non-fiction section features tons of fun books about real-life and 6 STEM kits to take home for fun, hands-on learning. We always have crafts and activities set up on our tables as well as an abundant toy section with developmental toys to work on motor skills, matching, and so much more. Children can have fun while you select books!

Our Adult room features a large selection of fiction novels and large print books, ranging from the classics like Agatha Christie, to well-known favorites like Nora Roberts and John Grisham, to newer authors like Colleen Hoover and Emily Henry. We have 4 computers in this section as well for looking at our catalog, doing work, researching, or anything you’d like.

Behind our circulation desks lies our non-fiction section–if you’re looking for books on cooking, or a new hobby, or raising a puppy this is what you’re looking for. This is also where our ‘New Book’ section lies for our adult books. DVD’s and Audiobooks can also be found here.

In the back of the library situated between two cozy corners is our Teen Lounge, with a nice selection of YA novels, audiobooks and graphic novels, cozy seating, a cafe table and cozy decor. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends, complete a fun project, work on homework or just read a book. This is also where our MakerSpace lies. If you’re interested in STEAM this table is fully loaded with fun manipulatives including a microscope, snap circuits, art supplies, a molecule set, and so much more. We always have ideas available to inspire creativity and curiosity.
